Nanny and Mother Open the Columbus Nanny Agency

Columbus, OH --- After working together for five years, nanny Cynthia Reinacher and her charges’ mother Sonya Thesing, are realizing a long-time shared dream by opening The Columbus Nanny Agency.
            The Columbus Nanny Agency is a full service nanny placement agency which places both live-in and live-out nannies with central-Ohio families.  They screen prospective nannies and conduct thorough background checks before introducing them to area families.  As important as the nanny screening process is the family screening process.  Family “get-togethers” and an evaluation of the family’s needs play an important part in matching families and nannies.  The end goal is an environment in which the children receive the best care possible and are able to thrive with the nanny’s input to their development.
            What makes the Columbus Nanny Agency unique is that it has two directors, one to serve nannies and one to serve families.  Mrs. Reinacher has ten years of nanny experience and has worked as both a live-in and live-out nanny.  Five of those years, she cared for Maxwell and Garrett Thesing.  She now serves as The Columbus Nanny Agency’s Director of Nanny Relations.
            “It is my goal to help nannies find families with which they are compatible,” said Mrs. Reinacher.  “I have been fortunate to work with some wonderful families and hope that the nannies I work with will be as happy in their nanny positions.”
            Mrs. Thesing and her husband David worked with different nanny placement agencies in Ohio during her two searches for nannies.  In 2000, the Thesings found the family’s first nanny through one agency.  In 2001, when their nanny moved, Mr. and Mrs. Thesing worked with three different agencies to find Mrs. Reinacher.  Mrs. Thesing serves as The Columbus Nanny Agency’s Director of Family Relations.
            “Parents invest an incredible amount of time and emotion finding that special person to care for their children in their absence,” said Mrs. Thesing.  “Having been through that process, I know what guidance parents need.  I have had wonderful working relationships with our nannies, and our children have thrived as a result.  I look forward to helping families after a nanny is placed as well, and giving guidance to the unique and important relationship that exists between parents and nannies.”
            Prior to co-founding The Columbus Nanny Agency, Mrs. Thesing was co-owner of Tour Golf Products and MarsGolf, and worked in development and marketing for the Smithsonian Institution and Washington National Cathedral.
